Sisal Rope is a natural fibre rope made from the yarns of the Agave Sisalana plant, native to Mexico and Central America.
A pale natural brown in appearance, sisal rope is hardy and resilient to all weather conditions (especially sunlight), making it ideal for use outside in gardens for borders or decking, as a hanging decoration with trailing plants, for children's play areas, as well as in construction. It's also used in most cat scratchers as the fibers are short and scratchy providing a lot of friction, perfect for use as a Tug of War rope!
Sisal rope has a rough feel, providing excellent grip. It also has excellent salt water resistance, making it great for marine use.
